Our natural blinds and curtains fabric are suitable for most styles in the market. Our know how gained from working with these fabrics for many years has created many procedures which ensures that the blinds function as they should and will last you many years.
We take the time in selecting the fabric, and working all the natural characteristics of every piece into the blind, hence, every Mulga Shade blind is custom made by hand for your window.
We mainly create 4 broad styles of window coverings, and within each style, we will have many variations. The four styles are -

- Shutters-We also sell Plantation Shutters and these are made by MYT Australia.

This is the most versatile and elegant style we make. It is also the most robust. Every single fabric we have can be made into a Roman blind. There are numerous variations and the table below shows the main few, but they can be made into any variations within the limitation of the fabric.

Roller Blind

Roller blinds are a practical solutions to cover a windows without taking away the view. Because of the rolling mechanism of the fabric, many fabrics are not suitable for this style. Typically, fabric that are too thick or too uneven. Since most of our fabrics have a mind of their own, this style often will not roll straight, and require that the user to give it a tap or a tug as you are rolling it up to ensure it is straight. If this bothers you, then roller blinds may not be suitable for you.

This is name after our client Chrissie. It is a roller blind with the roll down the bottom, being held by 2 hooks. The blind can only be manually rolled by hand and it’s opened position is fixed. It is a decorative blind suitable for windows where the positions of the blind is fixed all the time.

Panel glides are excellent for large opening, like a sliding door. You can decide on the width of each panel, however, most panel glides are between 500-900mm wide. You may have 1-9 panels. Panel tracks are sold separately.

Curtains
Nothing beats the richness and sumptuousness of a curtain, however, we do also make a modern curtain where it is a minimal use of fabric compare to the traditional, a modern take to a traditional method.

Double Systems
We apply double systems in situations where 2 requirements have to be met. The most common situations is a face blind that must look good, and sheer, so that it allows air and light into the room; Then a second blind where it provides total privacy when drawn down. In most purposes, the second blind will not be seen, it only functions to serve a practical purpose. Please find two variations and there are as many combinations as you can dream up-
