Measuring A Panel Glides
Xmm-This is the distance between the blind and the floor. We recommend at least 25mm.
Dmm- This is the panel drop, the measurement you put in the order form. It is the distance from the top of the panel including the Velcro to the bottom of the panel. Please take care when working out this number as it does not include the panel track and you must take this into account.
Ymm-The thickness of the panel track.
Pmm-This is the width of the track or the projection, ie can range from 50-100mm excluding the bracket projection.
The height where the panel is installed =
Ymm + Dmm + Xmm
Standard formula to calculate Panel Width =Total Width (Wmm)/ No Panels (n) + 50mm. This is normally done by us unless you like to specify your own panel width.

Panel Glide Face Fit Instructions
- Determine the position of your panel glides, it should have a clearance of at least Panel Drop mm + 25mm (your panel glide make size is assumed to be XX mm Drop, you need 25mm space between the bottom of the glide and the floor) and mark on the wall. This is the top of your bracket position.
- Screw the brackets in place, making sure that the top of the bracket is aligned with mark made earlier.
- Fit the wood board (with the long side Velcro facing you) on top of the brackets and screw them onto brackets securely.
- Install the panel glide reveal brackets under the wood board.
- Clip panel glide track into the reveal brackets. The Velcro on the panel glide should be facing you.
- Stick the Velcro panels onto the glider’s Velcro, move the panels up and down before sticking it on to ensure they are the same height as each other. Smooth and straighten the panels.
- Finally stick the valence Velcro onto the wood board Velcro from left to all the way to the right.
