Valance
Side View Front View
There are mainly 3 styles of Valance with a couple of variations. A valance can be visual, as well as functional. Visual in that it provides more definition for the blind, and functional in that it often hides the mechanism of a blind or track.
Variations
- Front valance (CodeV)- This valance have no returns, and have no projection except the timber that holds the valance. Suitable in a reveal situation
Side View Front View
- Front Valance with Projection (Code Vpr) – This is the same as the front valance, except it is mounted on a 100mm wide board. So it has a projection of 100mm, but it still have no returns.
Side View Front View
- Box Style Valance (Code Vbo)– This is as it suggested. It is like a box, so it is the same as the Valance with projection above, except, it also includes returns. In our Cocoon and Willows range, where the fabric can not be bent, the fabrics are turned vertical. Please make sure you understand this when ordering a box style valance in these fabrics.

- Wrap around valance (Code Vwa)– This is the box style valance for the Cocoon and Willows range, where the fabrics runs the same way as the blinds. So this valance is made up of 3 pieces of fabric all running the same way as the blinds, and attached manually onto the board, and the corners are manually joint to close the gap.
